Project / Design Engineer

We specialize in engineering design, cost consulting, and field services for multi-faceted projects that require in-depth experience in all aspects of civil engineering. We are currently looking for a Project Engineer or a Design Engineer to join our team of hard-working engineers specializing in land development, stormwater management and water/wastewater projects. The selected candidate should have the ability to work effectively in a professional environment and establish and maintain successful team relationships.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, design and engineering of utility projects, including grading, storm water management and sediment control design.

  • Stormwater Management and Erosion & Sediment Control Design and Review
  • Review and preparation of federal, state, and local permits
  • Participating in the planning, design and construction administration of municipal infrastructure facilities, and other general site/civil projects
  • Assist in coordination, direction, and review of CADD activities
  • Client interaction, presentations, and project coordination
  • Development of design plans and specifications
  • Preparation of engineering reports
  • Interact with local review agencies in permitting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (experience may be substituted for degree)
  • 4-15 years relevant experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Leader and team player possessing strong planning and organizational skills
  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and use of standard engineering software
  • PE license preferred but not required
